The MacLachlan Woodworking Museum is another must-see museum in Kingston. You can experience traditional woodworking in a Cabinetmaker's Workshop There are galleries for logging, lumbering, planemakers and also a kids exhibit. the main marine museum or you can view the Museum ship Alexander Henry. The museum offers various programs like a Victoriam Christmas Education Program, School tours and On the Roads program as well as various traditional woodworking programs. The museum offers over 5000 square feet of exhibit space and gift shop.

From Kingston
Take Ontario Street across the LaSalle Causeway. Follow this road, now Highway 2, for 16 km. The Museum is located on your right, 1 km past the intersection with Joyceville Road.
From Gananoque
Follow Highway 2 West for 13 km. The Museum is located on the left hand side of the road. If you reach Joyceville Road, you've just passed it.
From Highway 401
Take exit 632 (Joyceville Road) just east of Kingston. Follow Joyceville Road south for 4 km and turn left onto Highway 2 for 1 km more. The Museum is located on your right.
