Tae kwon do is a popular Kingston martial art that combines strict discipline with full contact fighting. While using the whole body to focus on flowing form and linear movement methods, punching, jumping kicks, blocks and dodges are applied in each battle. The sport was modernised in the mid 90’s to be practiced conventionally, but still keeps its philosophical systems intact.
