Kingston Skiing

There are many ski centres north of the Capital Region to thrill down-hill ski enthusiasts. Elevation at the ski hills near Kingston ranges from 106-381 metres (350 to 1,250 feet). Cross-country skiing fans will be amazed by the opportunities that abound in Gatineau Park, site of the Keskinada Loppet cross-country ski race, which is part of the prestigious Worldloppet circuit. There are almost 200 kilometres (111 miles) of groomed and track-set ski trails and ski enthusiasts can spend the night in one of five forest cabins as part of the Hut-to-Hut program.
