Kingston Sheep Dog Trials
If you’re an animal-lover, and enjoy competition as well, the Kingston Sheep Dog Trials are something you’ll want to see. This annual two-day event in August sees approximately 100 border collies pawing their way to the ranks of top sheep dog. The event is located at Grass Creek Park by the scenic St. Lawrence River. Other forms of entertainment include a birds of prey show, a sheep to shawl competition (sheep sheering), craft fair and musical performances. This event is located half way between Kingston and Gananoque on Highway #2.
