Located in the former Kingston Township, south of Bath Road between Day’s Road and Glen Castle Drive. Presently the largest elementary school in the Limestone District School Board, it is part of the “Frontenac Secondary Family of Schools.  Currently there are six hundred and eighty-six students enrolled in both the English (approx. 60%) and French Immersion (approx. 40%) programs, including 8 alternate, full day Kindergarten programs. While the majority (about 65%) of our students can walk to school, others are bused. J.R. Henderson Public School also offers a School-to-Community program with one full-time teacher. Students in this program are fully integrated in regular classroom programs where they receive additional support and withdrawal support as necessary.
