As well as serving as headquarters for most government departments and agencies, the Capital Region is the site of national institutions that shape, define and communicate the Canadian way of life (politically, legally, fiscally and culturally). Institutions related to federal authority are located in the Capital Region, for example: the House of Commons, the Privy Council Office, the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court, the Bank of Canada, the National Archives and many government departments.
The Kingston Police Force is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life ofthose living in the city of Kingston. Members of the Kingston Police Force all follow the same code of ethics and law.
Our main event, taking place downtown at Confederation Park on Saturday, September 17, will feature music and dance groups on two stages representing cultures from around the world, as well as local artists and vendors.
